The bright vermilion buildings shine beautifully in the greenery of the trees, and the main buildings such as temples, worship halls, and tower gates are lacquered. The main shrine is located on a stage structure that goes up the 117 steps, and on the precincts extending at the foot of the mountain, there are stately tower gates and Kagura halls. Its height is higher than Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto, and it is also called "Zenxi Nikko" because of its beauty.
