◆This is the autumn festival of Karatsu Shrine, which is held every year from November 2 to 4.
The 14 Hikiyamas have been designated as important tangible folk cultural properties of Saga Prefecture, and were registered as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in December 2016.

◆Yutoku Inari Shrine This shrine is counted as one of Japan's three largest Inari along with Fushimi Inari and Kasama Inari. ◆Kagamiyama Observation Deck Kagamiyama is a mountain at an altitude of 284m, and is a famous place that boasts a superb view of the country's special scenic spot, Niji no Matsubara and Karatsu Bay, and the island shadow of Iki, Nagasaki Prefecture. The 4 km road leading to the summit of Kagamiyama is a popular driving course.

"Sogama" is a pottery that was founded in 1984 and is the 40th year this year.
It is the only pottery in Arida that produces pottery using kneading techniques, in which porcelain clay is colored and made by hitting a dough combined like a puzzle in a mold.
