The wife of the Kashima feudal lord Naotomo Nabeshima, Hanayama-in Mankohime, was separated from Inari Oga, enshrined at Hanayama-in's residence in the Kyoto Imperial Palace when carrying a portable shrine from Kyoto. The vivid vermilion of the building that shines in the greenery of the trees is very impressive, and the main buildings such as temples, shrines, and tower gates are lacquered. The main shrine stands on the stage made up of 117 steps, and the tower gate and Kagura hall stand on the large grounds at the foot of the mountain. It is higher than Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto, and is also called "Zensei Nikko" because of its beauty.
